World IP Day in Cooperation with WIPO

25-26 Apr

World Intellectual Property Day is celebrated every 26 April to increase intellectual property (IP) awareness. World IP Day is an opportunity to highlight the role that IP rights (patents, utility models, industrial designs, trade marks, and copyright) play in encouraging innovation and creativity.

A balanced IP system recognises and rewards inventors and creators for their work and ensures that society benefits from their creativity and ingenuity. The theme this year was “IP and Youth: Innovating for a Better Future.”
