Side event on GIs in Africa at the AU-EU Agricultural Ministerial Conference

The African Union – European Union agricultural ministerial conference allows AU and EU agriculture ministers to exchange views and share best practices on the development of more sustainable food systems and responses to crises.
The progress made by various partners of the Continental Strategy for GIs in Africa, including AfrIPI, on implementing its action plan will be presented at the forthcoming AU-EU Agriculture Ministerial Conference in June 2023. Success stories of African GIs will also be presented at this event with a view to reflecting on the continuation of the Strategy beyond 2023.
