The EU-Kenya Business Forum will bring together representatives from the EU and Kenyan government, investors, business support organisations, and financial institutions. It will promote Kenya as a business destination and identify trade and investment opportunities for sustainable growth and job creation. Through discussions and practical examples, the forum will highlight economic opportunities in Kenya while also addressing areas for improvement.
As part of the programme of the first day, Aida Galindo, Project Leader AfrIPI, will introduce the Africa IP SME Helpdesk and share insights on how EU SMEs can benefit from its free services. Nancy Sumariwo, AfrIPI Intellectual Property expert, will present key business benefits of intellectual property rights and how SMEs can protect their intellectual property assets in Kenya.
