Soutien aux programmes de Masters académiques en PI

01 Jan 31 Dec

It is crucial that experts continue to provide distance-learning opportunities for students, since intellectual property is a vehicle for development and one of the pillars of economic growth in Africa. Colleges and other educational institutions must continue to encourage universal IP use and knowledge in light of Africa’s continuing economic development.

For the 2023/2024 academic year, AfrIPI and the OAPI will identify relevant topics to be handled during courses as part of the master’s programme. Lectures will be delivered by EUIPO experts online between June and July.

For the ARIPO MIP programme 2024/2025 at the three universities, the activity aims to provide selected EUIPO/EPO experts to train MIP students from AU, KNUST, and UDSM online. The updated programme schedules for the universities will be requested by AfrIPI through the ARIPO Academy, along with a list of the areas they need assistance in. Additionally, universities have the option to request lectures on types of activities not included in their programme calendar.
