The Africa IP SME Helpdesk participates in the Flanders Investment & Trade Export Fair in Brussels

From Tuesday 21 June to Thursday 23 June 2022, the 4th Export Fair organised by Flanders Investment & Trade (FIT) took place once again in the Brussels Expo event complex.
The Africa IP SME Helpdesk participated in the event – which was attended by over 820 participants – along with the European Commission’s International IP Helpdesks for China, India, Latin America and south-east Asia.
Attended by EU businesses, Chambers of Commerce, and FIT points of contact from across the globe, the event served as a key opportunity to present to potential stakeholders the project and its free services on internationalisation and IP management and protection.
During the export fair, the Africa IP SME Helpdesk established contact with SMEs, trade organisations and commercial experts as part of its matchmaking efforts to boost the Helpdesk’s activities. Thanks to the Helpdesk’s successful engagement in the event, the project will continue to expand and strengthen synergies with businesses and institutions in coming trade fairs across the EU and Africa.
