AFRICA-GI training on geographical indications

The activity will focus on organising a training for selected stakeholders in each OAPI Member State. The training will cover the operational aspects of GIs (i.e., identification, drafting of specifications, and marketing and sustainability of GIs) and protection-related aspects. A visit to an advanced field on the continent is crucial to the success of this activity (ex. Poivre de Penja).
