Expert support for the OAPI online master’s training programme
Expanding knowledge on IP in Africa is essential to create a strengthened IP network. It contributes to the development of human resources in the field of IP in Africa, creating a critical mass of professionals with the necessary skills to enable them to play a leading role in promoting the teaching, use and protection of intellectual property.
OAPI, in collaboration with WIPO, the EUIPO and the University Yaoundé II, has for several years been delivering a very comprehensive master’s programme on IP in Cameroon.
AfrIPI will continue to provide expertise to support the design of programmes like this one, and will deliver some sessions, based on EUIPO expertise and sharing of EU best practices, as well as the latest EU case-law and developments, to the master’s students.
This Activity will continue in AWP3.
