Support the development of a mentoring program to support OAPI members states SMEs

This activity aims to develop a mentoring programme that will provide support to SMEs in OAPI Member States by connecting them with Intellectual Property (IP) consultants and specialists capable of carrying out IP asset audits, setting up IP strategies, and assisting companies in obtaining IP titles.

Launched with a webinar in 2024, the initiative continued in 2025 with an in-person workshop after which IP agents were sent to selected SMEs in Cameroon and Côte d’Ivoire. A final seminar will be organised to present the findings and adjust the methodology as necessary for the next phase.
