Workshop on international frameworks (The Hague) for examiners

OAPI accessed the Geneva Act of The Hague Agreement Concerning the International Registration of Industrial Designs and this became effective on 16 September 2008. Users obtain protection in all OAPI countries as well as the other members of the Geneva Act of The Hague Agreement by filing one single application for the registration of their industrial designs.

AfrIPI will organise a regional workshop for OAPI and its member states’ design examiners on The Hague Agreement. The participants will learn from senior design experts the insights necessary for efficient application of this agreement in their everyday work. The workshop also promotes the sharing of first-hand experiences between design officials from OAPI member states and European design examination experts.
