Study Visit of Heads of IP Offices from ARIPO Member States

From 12 to 14 December 2023, AfrIPI will host a study visit of the heads of the national intellectual property offices (NIPOs) of the ARIPO Member States to the EUIPO premises in Alicante, to promote the creation of a solid network of IP offices in the ARIPO region and Africa as a whole.

This activity will take place in Alicante, Spain, over a period of three (3) days. It will be delivered through a mix of technical presentations, discussions, exchange of experiences and visits to the EUIPO, the University of Alicante and a GI site in Alicante.

The aim of the study visit is to strengthen the capacity of the NIPOs of the ARIPO Member States and to ensure consistent support to improve the quality of service to users and the business community.
