Support for the ARIPO patent examination training (ARPET)

From 16-25 October 2023 in Harare, Zimbabwe, the Intellectual Property Rights & Innovation in Africa (AfrIPI) project and the European Patent Office (EPO) will provide 10-day residential training to support the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) Regional Patent Examination Training Programme (ARPET).
Patent examiners in the ARIPO and national patent offices in ARIPO Member States, as well as Angola and Ethiopia, will develop and improve their knowledge and skills through continuous training on patent search, examination topics and substantive capacity and efficiency.
