Support for the OAPI training programme for trade marks and design examiners and IP representatives on substantive examination

In collaboration with the Intellectual Property Rights & Innovation in Africa (AfrIPI) project, the OAPI will organise training sessions for its trademark and design examiners.
The first phase of the training directed towards trademark examiners will take place at the OAPI headquarters in Yaoundé, Cameroon, from 25 - 27 September 2023.
From December 11 to 14, 2023, the second phase of the training for industrial design examiners will be offered online.
EUIPO experts will travel to Yaoundé, Cameroon, to conduct the session, while other experts from the European Union Intellectual Property Office will deliver online training on specific topics.
