World IP Day 2023 celebrations in Zimbabwe

On 26 April 2023, AfrIPI will celebrate World Intellectual Property Day (WIPD) with the Companies and Intellectual Property Office of Zimbabwe (CIPZ) and the African Regional Intellectual Property Organization (ARIPO) in Bulawayo, Zimbabwe. The celebration will constitute a march in Bulawayo’s central business district, followed by an address from dignitaries at the town hall.
The global theme this year is ‘Women and IP: Accelerating Innovation and Creativity .’ It aimes to celebrate the “can do” attitude of women inventors, creators, and entrepreneurs and their ground-breaking work.
