AfrIPI project launch event

In order to increase visibility, this launch event will formally announce the start of the IPR Protection for Africa (AfrIPI) Project. The event will include institutional speeches to present EU-Africa cooperation in the field of IP, as well as the specific plans and AfrIPI’s contributions where the EU on one hand and African countries and African IP offices on the other can come together to share views and assess cooperation opportunities. The communication and visibility strategy underpinning the launch event will have a special focus on the project’s importance in supporting IPR creation, protection, utilisation, administration and enforcement across Africa, in line with international and European best practice and in support of the AfCFTA and the AU’s Agenda 2063.
