Africa IP SME Helpdesk
The Africa IP SME Helpdesk supports small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs') from the European Union (EU) to both protect and enforce their Intellectual Property (IP) rights in/or relating to Africa by providing free information and services.
These comprise jargon-free, first-line, confidential advice on intellectual property and related issues as well as training, materials and online resources. More information and details about the IP systems in African countries is available at the Helpdesk website: http://africaiphelpdesk.eu.
Through the Helpline service the Helpdesk’ IP experts provide direct advice about IP-related queries concerning Africa. The IP experts are on hand to answer questions in 5 languages of the EU and within 3 working days.
The Helpdesk also offers a variety of exclusive IP webinars that provide practical, straight-forward information for EU SMEs'. These IP webinars can be either country-specific or regional and they are also focused on IP matters in different business sectors.
During the live sessions, participants have the opportunity to ask any question they may have directly to the IP experts. In the case of the recorded webinar, participants will also have the opportunity to send any query related to the topic of the webinar by using the helpline service.
