Workshop to facilitate the registration of GIs at the national level for OAPI countries

Three restitution workshops aiming to facilitate the registration of functional and sustainable GIs in the OAPI region will be organised in Comoros, Gabon, and Mauritania. The GIs concerned are:
- ylang-ylang – Comoros (15 September);
- pierre de Mbigou – Gabon (18 October);
- poutargue Imraguen – Mauritania (7 November);
The OAPI will organise a validation workshop in collaboration with AfrIPI to review the prospective studies proposed by experts, on 25-27 October 2023, in Yaoundé, Cameroon.
