Egypt joins DESIGNview

As of 31 October 2022, Internal Trade Development Authority of Egypt (ITDA) has made its designs available to the DESIGNview search tools. With ITDA on board, DESIGNview now contains data from 76 participating offices.

With the addition of more than 9.000 industrial designs from ITDA, DESIGNview now provides information and access to more than 19,9 million designs in total.

Since the introduction of DESIGNview on 19 November 2012, the tool has served almost 7,6 million searches from 163 different countries, with the US, Germany and the UK among the most frequent users.

The integration of ITDA in DESIGNview is a concrete result of the collaboration with the AfrIPI project - an international cooperation project funded by the European Union and implemented by the EUIPO.
